Floyd Nation Miami Concert reviews
SW: In Concert is EPIC
Anthony Daniels, the great narrator and MC, delivered spot-on timing and looked as if he was truly enjoying himself reliving Star Wars moments that I'm sure he has relived thousands of times prior, yet he made those moments exciting, emotional, and insightful for 1st time audiences and long-time SW franchise fans. Dirk Brosse, the symphony orchestra and chorus were AMAZING!! You felt like you were part of a great studio production in the making, but SOOOO much better. I can't say enough about the performers at the Tampa show: they were flawless, soloists were perfectly in tune and on time. I especially enjoyed the parts where the onslaught of SW film footage would cease and the camera would sweep the performers in real-time, keeping the audiences' minds in the reality that this was a live performance of John Williams' masterpiece. Mr. Brosse was excellently keen to the montage timing, delivering a superb conducting performance in front of a massively huge and bright HD screen. Our son said he could not wait for the next SW concert; it was sad to tell him that this was the one and only show...maybe this episode of SW will be continued... Bravo to the performers, Floyd Nation, producers, Anthony Daniels, George Lucas, and John Williams for creating an absolute entertainment joy in film and music!!
